OUR CHURCH
Christ Ev. Lutheran Church was started in 1969 as a mission congregation of the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod. Today, Christ Lutheran, its pastor and members, stand ready to serve Brainerd/Baxter and the central Minnesota area. In fact, at the present Christ draws quite a number of its members from communities other than Brainerd and Baxter.

OUR SYNOD
Christ Church is a member of the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod, so called because its founders began their work in Wisconsin. Today, however, the Wisconsin Synod(WELS) is represented throughout the United States and in many parts of the world.

OUR SAVIOR
The work of Christ Congregation in this community centers in and around the Savior of all, the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is only in this Savior that we find all the answers to life's questions and problems. It is only in this Savior that we find eternal life.
